The Games sees thousands of performers from scores of countries participate in an epic acting competition and virtual showcase. The key aim is to provide entertainment and to pay as many performers as possible – the prize pool for 2021 was $5,000 cash, distributed to 18 winners.

All actors are welcome, no matter your age, race, gender, identity, political views etc. There are categories for Amateurs and Professionals, Youth and Tigers (under 12s), short monologues and endurance performances.

WORLD MONOLOGUE FILM FESTIVAL

We also run a unique film festival, designed for small crews and works with scores of film and theatre producers every year. Whether you're looking for a new filmmaking challenge, a play to produce or a home for existing (short) films, we got ya covered!

This event provides a unique challenge for filmmakers. World Monologue Film Festival accepts films in the following format:

They must be shot in one continuous take
They must have camera movement - no performing in front of a tripod
They must feature only one performer - no offscreen voices, no additional actors (silent or not)
They must run for 1 to 2 and a half minutes
They must not mention Coronavirus and the global pandemic!
